Made from basic, minimally processed wholefood ingredients: the adzuki bean and sweet potato burgers contain, Adzuki bean, sweet potato, coriander seeds, parsley, cinnamon and salt.

The adzuki bean:

Adzuki beans are small and grown initially throughout East Asia and the Himalayas. Though they come in various colours, red adzuki beans are the most well-known. They are often used to make sweets and desserts in Japan and many Asian countries, yet they are as delightful and healthy in savoury dishes.

Adzuki Bean is known for its incredible health benefits; it improves digestion, balances sugar levels, hence reducing the risk of diabetes, improves heart, bone and skin health, and is very often used as an aid in weight loss.

Like most beans, adzuki beans are loaded with fibre, protein, complex carbs and beneficial plant compounds, as well as high levels of Folate and Manganese, Phosphorus, potassium and copper.

Adzuki beans also provide good amounts of antioxidants and beneficial plant compounds that protect your body against aging and diseases.

Studies show that adzuki beans may contain up to 29 types of antioxidants, making them one of the most antioxidant-rich foods.



Sweet Potato:


Sweet potato, the root vegetable once used to feed the poor in the early 20th century, is back in fashion, which is good news as it is one of the world's best superfoods and contains a bunch of nutrients you can't go past for health benefits. Not actually related to the white potato, which is from the nightshade family, sweet potatoes are part of the Convolvulaceae family. Sweet and starchy, these vegetables, apart from being full of valuable nutrients, are tasty, versatile, and inexpensive.

Sweet potatoes are a great source of fibre, vitamins, and minerals; they are an excellent source of Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Manganese, Vitamin B6, Potassium, Pantothenic acid

Coriander:
